Loio features over 2,500 templates drafted and vetted by lawyers. Simply select the template you need, fill it out, and customize it to fit your requirements. Once ready, sign or send the finished document to finalize your deal.
1. Browse all templates
Go to Templates in your Loio workspace. To find the right document, you can:
Enter specific terms (e.g., “Bill of Sale”) in the search bar, then select a template from the list of suggested options on the right.
Browse templates by category: Check the category/-s you need, then select from templates that appear on the right.
2. Preview a template
Selecting a template brings you to its preview page where you can see the template’s info:
Template tier: Check if the template is included in your subscription plan (Free, Plus, or Pro).
User rating: See how other users have rated a template.
Quick stats: View the last update date, page count, and total downloads.
Template description: Read more about the template and its purpose.
To read the full text, hover over the document on the left and scroll through the pages.
ℹ️ Ensure your subscription plan matches the template tier. If a template is in a higher tier, you can purchase it as a one-off at any time.
3. Select a template version
Most of Loio’s templates include multiple variations to fit specific use cases.
Choose any version of a template below its description (if available).
The template’s content (like clauses and parties) will automatically adjust based on your selection.
To confirm your choice, click Use template.
4. Fill out a template with Loio’s wizard
Loio simplifies document completion by guiding you through a series of questions:
Answer questions on the left side of the screen; Loio will automatically populate the document blanks for you.
Click Next to move through sections and Finish once all the required details are filled in.
Want to save your progress and finish the document next time? Click Save and continue later. The file will appear in your Documents folder, so you can return to it anytime.
Optional: Skip Loio’s wizard and get a blank document
If you need a blank template and want to skip the completion process:
Click Save and continue later in Loio’s wizard.
Find your template with its current completion percentage in your Documents folder.
Click More (three horizontal dots) on a document card and select Finish. This will cancel the wizard for this template.
You can now open your template in the editor to make changes, fill it out manually, or send for signatures.
Next steps: Edit, sign, and export
Once completed, your document appears in your workspace, so you can edit, sign, and send it for signatures.
Click a document to open in the editor, then:
Use Edit content in the left-hand toolbar to tweak the text.
Select the Signature tool to sign a document electronically.
Switch to For signers mode to request signatures from others.
After finalizing a document, you can share or export it directly from the editor or your dashboard.
