Handle static PDFs like text documents. Fix typos, update outdated clauses in contracts, and tweak formatting instantly—no more converting files back and forth.
How to edit text in a PDF
Open a PDF in the editor and follow these steps:
Select My edits > Edit Content in the left-hand toolbar.
Double-click the specific text block you want to modify.
Edit or remove content as needed.
Click Apply changes to save your progress, or Cancel to discard them.
Note: While the Edit Content tool is active, you cannot switch to other tools. You must first apply changes, cancel them, or exit the tool by clicking the ✖.
Formatting and adjustments
When a text block is selected, use the top action panel to customize its appearance:
Style: Change the font, set the font size, or apply bold and italic formatting.
Color: Select a new text color using pre-set options or a custom choice.
Position: Drag a text block to move it across the page.
Sizing: Pull the anchor points to increase or decrease the block’s width.
💡Pro tip: A text block’s height adjusts automatically based on the content inside, but you must adjust the width manually. If your layout looks uneven, try widening the block to distribute the text more effectively.
Adding and deleting text blocks
While in the editing mode, use the top action panel to place additional text blocks or remove existing ones:
Add text: Click the Add Text Box button > Click anywhere on the page to place it > Start typing.
Remove text: Select an existing text box and click the trash bin icon to delete it.
Don’t forget to save your progress by clicking Apply changes before exiting the tool.
