Loio automatically saves versions of your document as you and your contributors work on it. Compare any of them with the current draft to see exactly what changed and who changed it.
1. Open version history
Click ☰ in the top-right corner and select Versions. The Version history panel lists every saved version, newest first, with its authors, the date, and a summary of changes.
Click any version to view it. The document stays read-only while you browse its history.
2. Compare the current draft with earlier versions
Select a version in the Version history panel.
Click Compare to current at the top of the document.
Review the changes: added text is highlighted in green, changed text appears in yellow, and removed text is highlighted in red. Hover over a change to see who made and suggested it.
When you’re done, click Close history to get back to editing.
3. Save a version manually
Automatic versions capture every stage of your work. To mark an important milestone, such as a draft ready for approval:
Click Create new version at the top of the Version history panel.
Enter a name and an optional description of what changed.
Click Create version.
4. Restore or rename a version
Select a version and click ⋯ in the top-right corner of the document:
Restore: Bring the document back to that version.
Rename: Give the version a different name.
Important: Restoring a version changes the working draft only. It doesn’t affect agreements that have already been signed.
