Use Loio’s highlighting and drawing tools to mark up documents and simplify the review process.

Available on: All plans

Loio streamlines document reviews and collaboration by letting you highlight key sections, leave freehand notes, and make quick visual markings on PDFs.

Freehand drawing

Open your document in the editor. Select My edits > Draw > Pen and begin drawing anywhere on a document. The Pen tool allows you to circle errors, write quick notes, draw arrows, and more.

  • Adjustments: Use the top action panel to change the color, adjust opacity, increase or decrease line thickness, or choose various color blending modes.

  • Positioning & resizing: You can move drawings by dragging them or resize them by pulling the corner anchor points.

  • Deleting: Remove drawings and markings by clicking the trash bin icon in the top panel.

Text highlighting

Click My edits > Draw > Text Highlight, then select a text fragment to apply a highlight.

Use the top action panel to change the highlight color, opacity, and blending mode, or to delete a highlight (trash bin icon).

Freehand highlighting

Click My edits > Draw > Marker, then highlight any area of a document (with or without text).

Use the top action panel to change the highlight color, opacity, thickness, and blending mode.

Delete a highlight by clicking the trash bin icon.

Quick redlining

The quickest way to redline a PDF during review is to select any text fragment and choose from the instant options that appear above:

  • Highlight

  • Strikethrough

  • Underline

  • Squiggle

Clicking on the marked text later will reopen the action panel, allowing you to change parameters or remove the marking.

Erasing annotations

Select My edits > Draw > Eraser to quickly remove hand-drawn annotations like pen markings or marker highlights. Use the top action panel to control the Eraser tool’s thickness.
