Available on: All plans

How to save an edited document?

Saving your work ensures that all modifications to text, fields, or formatting are preserved in your document.

To save your progress, select the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner, then click Save as draft.

How to discard changes?

If you decide not to keep the edits you have made, you can exit the editor without modifying the document.

To discard your changes, use one of the following methods:

  • Using the back button: Click the Go back button (arrow pointing left) in the top-left corner. Confirm your action by clicking Discard & close.

  • Using the menu: Click the hamburger menu in the top-right corner and select Discard & close.

Troubleshooting

Why can’t I see the save button in the hamburger menu?

The Save as draft button may be unavailable if no new changes have been detected in the document. Try making an edit to activate it.

Can I recover a document after discarding changes?

No. Once you confirm Discard & close, all unsaved changes are permanently deleted, and the document reverts to its last saved state.

Does Loio have an auto-save feature?
