Upload a document

Get your document ready for review, editing, or signing. Import files from your computer or cloud storage to start working in seconds.

Uploading a document is the first step in any Loio workflow, unless you choose to use a ready-made template from Loio’s library or reuse an existing file. Here's how to import documents to your workspace.

Option 1: Upload from your device

To begin, log in to your Loio workspace and click New Document.

Click Upload from computer in the upload modal and choose your file. Alternatively, drag a file from your device into the designated drop area. Loio currently supports PDF files up to 10 MB.

Option 2: Import from Google Drive

To transfer a file from your cloud storage, click Import from Google Drive in the upload modal, then connect your Google account.

Select any PDF stored in your Drive to add it to your Loio workspace instantly.

Troubleshooting

If your document won't upload, check for the following:

  • Password protection: Ensure the document is not password-protected.

  • File size: The file must be 10 MB or smaller.

  • File format: Loio only supports PDF at this time.

  • Complex layers: PDFs with multiple layers can cause errors; try "flattening" the PDF before uploading.
