With Loio, signing takes place right in a browser, and every party receives the guidance needed to complete a document quickly without the guesswork.
1. Check email for a signature request
When you are invited to sign, you will receive an email notification. Open it and click Sign document to start a signing session in Loio.
Have a Loio account? You can also find pending requests directly in your workspace. Go to the Signatures folder and use the To sign toggle to view documents awaiting your signature.
2. Follow prompts to complete a document
When a signing session begins, click Start signing. Loio will guide you through every field step by step. Click Next field or Previous field to move through the document, or select any field to input data.
3. Place your signature
Click on the Sign field and create your electronic signature:
Draw: Use your mouse or touchpad to draw your signature.
Image: Upload a photo of your handwritten signature.
Type: Type your name and customize the font and color.
Click Done to apply. Loio saves your signature for future use, so you can sign even faster next time.
Note: For security reasons, an eSignature request is valid for 30 days. Once it expires, the recipient won’t be able to sign.
4. Additional actions
At any point during the signing session, click the burger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner to access more options:
Save as draft: Save your progress to finish the remaining fields later.
Decline document: Decline to sign and provide a reason to the sender.
Download/Print: Save a copy to your device or create a hard copy.
Document details: View info like the sender's email address and the document's expiration date.

5. Final submission
Once all fields are complete, click Done at the bottom of the screen. The document will return to the sender or proceed to the next signer in the sequence. You will receive a final copy of the completed agreement via email.
To export your copy:
Click Download document in the email notification.
If you have a Loio account, this action will take you to your workspace, from where you can export the signed file.
If you’re not signed up, the document will open in Loio as shown below. Click Download or Download with history (if you need an audit trail attached).
